The “Vampire Procedures” use the patient’s own blood to separate platelet rich plasma. The platelets are activated to release growth factors and are injected back in the areas of treatment: face, hands, scalp, breast or urogenital area, where they stimulate the local stem cells.After the initial post procedure swelling is resorbed, the patient starts to see the improvement induced by the stem cells stimulation. This process continues up to 12 weeks. In general the treatments are repeated a few weeks apart and are followed by maintenance treatments done a few months apart.
