Dr. Oxana Popescu is a graduate of Carol Davila School of Medicine in Bucharest Romania, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital at Forest Hills, NY.
Dr. Oxana Popescu started her career in Internal Medicine in 1992. The Aesthetic Medicine practice was founded in 2008. Shortly after that, in 2012, Da Vinci MedSpa became a Cynosure Center for Excellence.
Dr. Oxana Popescu has practiced medicine in various settings being familiar and comfortable with minimally invasive procedures. She is a recipient of the Physician Recognition Award in 2003 and 2008. Additionally, she is a member of the American College of Physicians, and is Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Oxana Popescu is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a member of the American Cellular and Cosmetic Medicine Association.
The doctor’s interest in Aesthetic Medicine started with research into French medical literature on noninvasive cellulite treatment. Through her research she was introduced to the world of lasers and their applications in aesthetic medicine.
In her private moments Dr. Oxana Popescu is an artist and musician. Her progression to aesthetic medicine is a natural extension of that creativity.
Our office is conveniently located is Hastings-on-Hudson, and accessible to the patients from Scarsdale, White Plains, NYC as well as the Rivertowns.
