Recovery After Laser Liposuction

Laser liposuction has a short recovery time and patients can resume work 1-2 days after the procedure. During the first 24 hours I advise patients to rest and avoid physical exercise.  They can take their first shower 24 hour post procedure.

Patients use a special compression garment which will increase comfort during the first month. Lymphatic drainage is another treatment used to mobilize and reduce swelling.

I always ask my patients to avoid public pools or jacuzzi.

In addition hydration, a diet rich in proteins, avoiding cigarettes and alcohol will speed up the healing process.
